Great Sportsmen - Lukas Podolski & Rafael Nadal

Despite scoring 2 Goals for Germany, Lukas Podolski did not celebrate his scores. Mainly due to the fact that he was born at Poland and he have a big family there. Germany eventually won 2-0 at the EURO 2008 match on 8 Jun 08.

Roland Garros brings the most exciting Grand Slam this year so far. Rafael Nadal the 2nd seeded player slammed the current no 1 Roger Federer to a 3 set finals win. (losing only 1 set) But he did not clebrate like his usual on his knees but just a punch in the air to the crowd. No wanting to upset the top seed even further. Nadal from Spain is currently 28 matches undefeated at the French Open and has won consecutively from 2005 to 2008.
These two are no doubt great soprtsmen.. very rare indeed in this age of time. Congrats to them not only for their sports skills but their ethical and professionality as well.

Moscow, Russia

The Moscow Kremlin (Russian: Московский Кремль) usually referred to as simply The Kremlin, is a historic fortified complex at the heart of Moscow, overlooking the Moskva River (to the south), Saint Basil's Cathedral (often confused as the Kremlin) and Red Square (to the east) and the Alexander Garden (to the west). It is the best known of kremlins (Russian citadels) and includes four palaces, four cathedrals, and the enclosing Kremlin Wall with Kremlin towers. The complex serves as the official residence of the President of Russia.

Yesterday, MM Lee mentioned about S'pore investment towards Russia. His forward looking ideas are briliant as Russia is already a developed country and tops in computer science, technology, space and retail.

If I get the chance to go to Russia, I would like to go to the Kremlin, Red Square and St Basil Cathedral which is the best architechture.

Cost Of Living (Part 1)

Food Shortage, Fuel Shortage, Water Shortage, High Inflation, Increase Cost of Living...

Big, big problem. I read a news article and support the author on wealth funds such as Temasek Holdings (Since 1974) and GIC (since 1981) to commence projects on overseas purchase of land for agriculture, aquaculture, as Singapore's needs and consumption has tremendously increased.

These 2 brands are the pride of Singapore and put the country at the top in Wealth Management, Technology and Investments.

Global Warming

It supports carbon reducing projects like renewable energy, energy efficiency and reforestation projects. Government and organizations should reduce the coal and petrol use as the major examples of drastic global warming is the low-lying islands off pacific ocean. Its highest point is only currently 2m above sea level. By this century it will be totally sunk and all its inhabitants will have to be relocated - no joke. See Kiribati. carbonfund.org

Fastest Man

Currently the Fastest Man Alive Usain Bolt smashes the 100m record. Now record standing at 9.72s could the record ever be streched further? The athletics event would be the most watched come 08.08.08

Favourite Movies Of All Time

These are my favourite movies of all times:

1) Silence of the Lambs,
Anthony Hopkins is a well-rounded actor, his appearance all 17min of it
made him a receipient of the Oscars. The movie really captures your imagination
of what goes through the minds of a physcopath. The beginning till ending was
like a poetry-in-motion.

2) Hackers,
Imagine being a boy but have the mind to crash a Major Company. This movie is the
stepping stone to Angelina Jolie's acting credits. It also educates me of the lesser-known
world of computer programming.

3) Swordfish,
After X-Files, Hugh Jackman & Halle Berry joins forces with John Travolta. The movie
shows the independence of the storyline to be of its own and limits to its own individualistic
genre. Hoping Swordfish2 will be up and about soon...

4) The Matrix,
I never got to watch the anime, reloaded or revolutions (should see it someday). Keanu Reeves
brings a potrayal of a super-hero-like save-the-world in a world that could actually exist.
Mind-overload.
